Covergold Locator
The
current version of Locator was completed in
March 2008. Document Processing Agency Ltd and
Covergold invested ten years of development into
the project to obtain a product capable of
dealing with the specific requirements of
medical records.
The creation of Locator Professional provided the environment to drive a system solution that guarantees 100% legal file security with archival permanency. Auto-file scan from micrographics developed within the software became available in November 2006 thus supplying the vehicle to convert microfilm images to electronic data in the event of image loss or corruption. This protection is unique to Locator and offers back end disaster recovery unavailable in direct scanning systems.
Fully net-workable with concurrent licensing the front end is user friendly and efficient. Access levels are easily controlled and managed at department or client level, allowing individual security restrictions to be applied per user. The client server based system offers ease of backup with local network speed. Locator Professional is currently installed in major hospitals with full network capabilities.
The system is also installed in many areas within the private sector, from large banking organisations to small company accounts departments.
