What is Microfilming?
For simplicity, microfilming can be understood as the recording of hardcopy documents as an image onto microfilm. These images now stored on the microfilm can then be viewed on microfilm readers or, with the right equipment and software, on computers.
The microfilm then acts as a permanent record of information which can be duplicated onto further microfilm rolls or copied onto a digital format and with our electronic interface document system can be used for fast, cost effective document retrieval.
Microfilming - The Process
The exact process followed will depend on on your business needs. However, in general the documents to be microfilmed are identified, and 
prepared, photographed using specialist cameras, developed and produced as microfilm that you can use. There are a number of finishing options (e.g. indexing) which we consider, again this depends on your requirements.
What are the benefits of microfilming?

Microfilming Software
We provide two types of software for getting the most out of your microfilm. The software allows you to interact with your scanned images very conveniently. Popular software includes 'Locator' which will allow your images to be retrieved using pre determined index fields. Locator is a LAN based system. More on Locator.
Another popular software product - TeamBinder gives the same and more functionality (e.g. Project Management) and is web based allowing remote access to data. TeamBinder is highly customisable and brandable. More on TeamBinder.
